Red Team and Adversary Simulation

Objective-Based Red Team Operation

We attempt to reach a critical objective you select, using real attacker techniques. We measure at which step your defense detects the attack.

What it is

A Red Team operation does not search for individual vulnerabilities. It combines weaknesses to reach a pre-defined objective. The objective may be a payment instruction, customer database or production system. The operation aims to remain undetected, showing how your controls work together.

Scope

  • Objective, starting point and stop conditions documented in writing
  • Scenarios starting from the internet, a compromised account or insider
  • Identity, endpoint, network and cloud controls tested together
  • Social engineering and physical access steps included with your approval
  • Timestamped log of every step and post-operation clean-up

The need

When organizations need it

  • When the board asks if a real attack would be detected in time.
  • When you want to assess what your SOC and EDR investments provide against a real attack.
  • When annual penetration tests yield similar findings and the real state of critical systems is unclear.

Method

How we work

  1. Objective and rules

We document the objective, boundaries and emergency contacts with you.

  2. Scenario

We create a scenario tailored to you from documented methods of groups targeting your sector.

  3. Operation

We progress toward the objective step by step, logging each step with a timestamp.

  4. Comparison

We compare our log with what your defense detected and review any unseen steps together.

Outcome

What you have at the end

You see whether the objective was reached and which steps your defense missed. You receive prioritized fixes that would have stopped the attack earliest.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Red Team operation and a penetration test?

A penetration test aims to identify as many vulnerabilities as possible in defined systems. A Red Team operation measures whether a single objective can be reached and if your defense detects it.

Is our defense team notified in advance?

You decide. For realistic measurement, usually only a small management group is informed.

Can the operation affect business continuity?

Stop conditions and restricted areas are defined at the outset. Steps that could alter data are taken only with your approval.
