Red Team and Adversary Simulation

Attackers can cause serious harm by exploiting seemingly minor vulnerabilities.

A compromised password can look like a minor problem on its own. But combined with access permissions broader than needed, it can let an attacker reach customer data. We test various attack methods step by step in your organization's own environment, and record which stages your defense systems detect.

Red Team Operations

Services

Our experienced specialists provide services and consulting in these areas.

Red Team and Adversary Simulation With realistic attack scenarios aimed at specific objectives, we test how well your defenses protect your critical assets. Explore Application and Source Code Security We review your source code before release to find authorization and business-logic flaws. Explore Cloud, Infrastructure and Identity Security We identify the potential impact of authorization and configuration flaws in your cloud environments, and remediate the risks they create. Explore SOC, Threat Detection and Incident Response We assess at which stage your security operations can detect a real attack, and close the gaps in your monitoring and detection. Explore Reverse Engineering and Vulnerability Research We reveal how software and devices you have no source code for actually work and what they really do. Explore Cybersecurity Consulting and Strategy With our experienced team, we build your security architecture and compliance processes on solid foundations from the start. Explore

Questions

Which question do you need answered?

  1. If one of our employees' accounts is compromised, can an attacker reach our critical systems?
  2. At what stage can our SOC team detect a real attack?
  3. Which security vulnerabilities should we fix before our new product goes live?
  4. Are access permissions configured correctly in the systems we moved to the cloud?
  5. Could we stop a ransomware attack from spreading and bring our systems back online?
  6. Are the technical measures we take to secure data under data protection law genuinely effective?
  7. What preparations should we make in our organization to obtain ISO/IEC 27001 certification?

Approach

Four stages, from identifying attack paths to verifying the effectiveness of the measures taken.

  1. C1First contact

    Objective and scope

Together we identify the assets that must be protected and clarify where the attack simulation begins and how success is measured. We present the scope of the work for your written approval.

  2. C2Second contact

    Technical assessment

We assess vulnerabilities from an attacker's perspective and test the possible attack paths. We log every step with a timestamp, so your teams can compare these records with their own system logs.

  3. MAXTotality

    Impact and prioritization

We prioritize the findings by how much they ease an attacker's access to critical assets. We show which fix blocks which attack path, and which steps your defense systems failed to detect.

  4. C3-C4Egress

    Strengthening security measures and retesting

We plan the necessary fixes together with your teams. After the fixes, we repeat the same attack steps to confirm that the related attack paths are blocked.

Research

Research and product development.

Our team researches new attack techniques and the methods to detect and block them. We transfer the knowledge and experience we gain into the services we offer and the security products we develop within CYFORK.

Our publications will be shared here as they become available.

Research

The first step is a short meeting.

Let's assess the assets you want to protect and your priorities together. Let's define the service and scope that fit your needs.
