Strategy, Governance, Compliance and Resilience
In many organizations, test findings and legal obligations are kept on separate lists. We combine them into one security program. Each step has a clear owner and timeline. You can see which risk each step addresses. If there is no internal manager for this role, we run the program with you.
Strategy, Governance and Training
Most organizations face several obligations at once, such as data protection law, sector rules and customer contracts. In the EU, NIS2 also requires the management body of an in-scope organization to approve its cybersecurity measures. If handled separately, the same control is implemented multiple times. Some risks end up without an owner.
The need
When organizations need it
- When you need to present priorities and rationale to the board for next year's security budget.
- When an ISO/IEC 27001 certification audit or an annual compliance audit is approaching.
- When a customer in the EU requests security evidence under its NIS2 supply chain requirements.
- When there is no full-time security manager and the responsibility remains with the IT team.
Questions
What this work answers
- Which risks are most critical to the business, and which investment should come first?
- Which legal and contractual obligations apply to us, and how many do we meet today?
- How much risk do our suppliers' access and services pose for us?
- Who makes decisions in a crisis, and how long does it really take to restore from backup?
Strategy, Governance and Training
What we do
-
Virtual CISO (vCISO)
We manage your security program until the role is established in-house. We set priorities, prepare the budget rationale and run audit processes.
-
Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment
We assess your current state against a framework such as ISO/IEC 27001 or your sector regulation. The result is a list of missing controls and their impact, not a single score.
-
Security Strategy and Roadmap
We turn findings, obligations and business goals into steps with assigned owners and timelines.
-
Information Security Risk Management
We set up a risk register that evaluates assets, threats and business impact together. Test findings keep it updated.
-
Supplier and Third-Party Security Assessment
We assess how suppliers connect to your systems and what level of access they have. We also determine how a supplier outage would affect your business.
-
Policy and Control Design
We write policies and procedures that meet audit requirements and are practical for your teams to follow.
-
Compliance Readiness and Technical Evidence
We conduct a gap analysis against requirements such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2 or the GDPR. We provide technical evidence that the controls are effective.
-
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Security
We map dependencies of your critical processes. We check if the recovery plan works in an attack that also affects backups.
-
Backup Restore Testing
We actually restore defined systems from backup. We measure the time taken, data integrity and whether backups are protected from attackers.
-
Executive and Technical Cyber Incident Exercises
We build scenarios based on findings from your environment. Management and technical teams rehearse decision-making and regulatory notification steps together.
-
Secure Coding Training
We develop hands-on training using the flaw types found in your code. Content is tailored to your languages and frameworks.
-
Red Team and Blue Team Technical Training
Your security team learns attack techniques and detection methods hands-on in a controlled lab.
-
Role-Based Security Awareness Training
We train roles such as finance and help desk on scenarios they encounter. For example, finance learns to recognize fraudulent payment instructions.
Scope
The work can start with a single goal, such as audit preparation, or cover the entire security program. The program runs in monthly or quarterly cycles.
How we work
We determine the current state from test findings and configurations, not documents. Then we map obligations and risks to a single control list. This shows where one control meets several obligations. Each roadmap step closes only after retesting.
Deliverables
What you receive
A roadmap showing each step's owner, timeline and the risk it addresses. A table mapping obligations to controls. A timeline of exercise decisions and times measured in restore tests.
NoteWhere legal interpretation is needed, we work with your legal counsel. Certification decisions are made by an independent certification body. We provide the preparation and technical evidence.
