Cloud, Kubernetes and Infrastructure Security

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Assessment

We assess the configuration of your AWS, Azure and Google Cloud accounts from an attacker's perspective. We show which misconfiguration exposes which data.

What it is

In the cloud, the provider secures the infrastructure, while configuration is your responsibility. The assessment compares your account and project settings with accepted baselines such as the CIS Foundations Benchmarks. Each finding is tested in a realistic scenario: how far would a leaked access key or compromised server reach? This highlights the settings that actually expose data, not just generate alerts.

Scope

  • Account, subscription and project structure, and central policy rules
  • Internet-exposed storage, databases and management interfaces
  • Protection of administrator accounts and access keys
  • Audit log coverage, central collection and retention period
  • Status of the provider's built-in security services and alert recipients

The need

When organizations need it

  • When the initial cloud migration phase is complete and temporary setup permissions remain.
  • When different teams or an external provider built the environment and no one has full oversight.
  • When a customer or auditor requests an independent assessment of your cloud environment.

Method

How we work

  1. Read-only access

An audit account is set up using the provider's built-in read-only roles. No settings are changed in the environment.

  2. Configuration review

We compare settings with the CIS Foundations Benchmarks and the provider's security recommendations.

  3. Scenario analysis

We determine which data a leaked key or compromised server could access.

  4. Prioritization and remediation

We rank findings by the data they expose. If you use infrastructure as code, we provide fixes at the template level.

Outcome

What you have at the end

You receive misconfigurations that expose data, prioritized. Each item specifies which data is at risk and in which scenario.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to grant write access to our accounts?

No. The assessment uses a read-only role. Built-in provider roles such as SecurityAudit in AWS are sufficient.

Aren't the provider's security score and recommendations enough?

These tools score settings individually. They do not show where combined permissions can lead. The assessment uses their output as input.

Can you review multiple cloud providers together?

Yes. Identity federation and shared keys between providers can create paths not visible in single-provider reviews.
